About OXYS
Oxys company was founded in 2003 and in a
short time it became number one in dry ice
blasting on Czech and Slovak market. It has
experienced workers, technicians and the best
blasting equipment available on the market.
In 2007 it became part of Linde Group, which is
the producer of high quality dry ice. In
Czech Republic, Oxys is a certified distributor
of vintage dry ice blasting equipment made by
ColdJet. Our company is doing business in
all areas of industry in Czech Republic.
3
Dry Ice blasting Dry ice blasting is similar
to sand blasting, plastic bead blasting, or soda
blasting where a medium is accelerated in a
pressurized air stream to impact a surface to be
cleaned or prepared. But that's where the
similarity ends. Instead of using hard
abrasive media to grind on a surface (and damage
it), dry ice blasting uses soft dry ice,
accelerated at supersonic speeds, and creates
mini-explosions on the surface to lift the
undesirable item off the underlying substrate.
This method is non-abrasive, it does not damage
the cleaned surface.
4
The main roll plays 3 factors   - Kinetic
Energy - Kinetic energy is transferred from the
dry ice media to the surface, chipping away at
the contaminant and is then converted to heat
producing sublimation - the process of turning
from solid to vapour.   - Thermal Differentials
- Dry ice has a temperature of - 78.5C. The two
materials can often contract at different rates
and so weakening the bond between the two
materials. This is particularly noticeable where
hard resins have been applied to metallic
surfaces. - Reverse Fracturing - As the Dry
Ice media warms up, it is converted directly back
into carbon dioxide vapour, expanding rapidly.
This effect (sublimation) forces the contaminant
from the underlying surface.

How can OXYS help
  • Dry Ice Blasting Machines Cold JetWe provide
solutions for any budget with the widest
selection of blasting machines and nozzles
available anywhere in the world today. Whatever
you need to clean, we can help you find the right
    solution for your application.
  • Dry Ice Oxys is a part of Linde Group, the
biggest supplier of technical gases in Czech
    republic.

The new Aero Series quite simply changes the
game of dry ice cleaning. The Aero also
employs components of Cold Jet's patented
SureFlow System design which allows you to use a
full load without worrying about clogging.
Couple that with automated hopper agitation,
Super Multilayer Insulation, 360 turning radius
and flat-free wheels and the Aero will let you
clean like never before.
8
The new Aero C100 Pneumatic is the most
powerful and efficient pneumatic dry ice blasting
machine ever. With cleaning performance that's
twice as fast as other pneumatics, and a
pulse-free stream that cleans uniformly on every
pass, the C100 is like no pneumatic machine
you've seen before. This innovative
lightweight, compact, single-hose low pressure,
electric blasting system utilizes dry ice block
with as little as 4,8 m3/min and blasts at
variable air pressures from 20 to 125 psi (1.4 to
8.6 bar).
9
Dry Ice
We offer and provide also regular dry ice
delivery according to customers needs, either
pellets or blocks. Our dry ice has the highest
possible quality and we distribute it in special
thermoboxes for longer life-time of the dry ice.

  • Irregular cleaning
  • Cleaning of technology units during summer
    breaks, fire restoration and break-downs.
  • We are able to use up to 10 machines at once and
manage big contracts in short time.
  • Our advantage is using of high quality equipment,
nozzles, andtrained staff with a lot of
experience from different areas of industry.

13
  • Regular cleaning
  • Cleaning which takes place at least once a week.
Includes the blasting equipment, delivery of dry
    ice and trained operators.
  • It means high comfort of cleaning activities
without investments, plans for delivery of dry
ice and without need of trained operators.
  • This service allows to control the cleaning
costs in accordance to current production,
because only number of cleaned units (molds,
    presses,...) is invoiced.
  • Our advantage is accessibility of all types of
powerful blasting machines, complete range of
nozzles and a lot of experience of our trained
operators. It is easy for us to find quickly the
optimal, highly efficient solution with added
    value for our customer.
