Daniel Brachfeld
Starting Line Consulting
  • Dan is a senior at the Ross School of Business
    with emphases in Finance and Business Information
    Technology. He spent this past summer interning
    in sales and trading at Bear Stearns and will be
    joining Bear Stearns full time at the conclusion
    of his senior year. Dan is extremely involved in
    the business school, as president of both
    Michigan Interactive Investments and the BBA
    Finance Club. Through these positions he
    regularly works with corporate recruiters to
    develop relationships between Michigan students
    and Investment Banks. Dan also serves as the BBA
    Chair to the Ross School of Business Alumni
    Development Commitment where he works as a
    liaison between the school and its alumni base.
  • In addition to working at Bear Stearns, Dan also
    has the professional experience of interning with
    Legg Mason (Asset Management) and Fleishman
    Hillard (Public Relations). Dan has successfully
    interviewed for positions in Investment Banking,
    Sales and Trading, Private Wealth Management,
    Asset Management, and Public Relations.
  • Dan provides general career counseling, resume
    and cover letter review, networking strategies,
    and interview tips. Dan is able to provide unique
    advice based upon his relationships with
    recruiters from various firms and industries. Dan
    will also be available to counsel students once
    they have accepted an internship offer on how to
    succeed as an intern and be asked back full-time

Reuben Dvoretsky
Starting Line Consulting
  • Reuben is a senior at the Ross School of
    Business, concentrating in finance, accounting,
    and Strategy. Reuben has shown high academic
    achievement throughout his college career. He is
    a recipient of the William J. Branstrom Freshman
    Prize as well as Robert Dort Nonna Petis
    Scholarship. Reuben is a Carson Scholar and has a
    strong interest in politics, law, and public
    policy.
  • Reuben gained valuable corporate finance
    experience in the Treasury Department at Owens
    Corning where he helped execute a 2.4 billion
    financing deal. Furthermore, he had the
    opportunity to lead a team analyzing the cash
    management processes of a major Owens Corning
    subsidiary, in which his recommendations led to
    190,000 annual savings. As a result, Reuben is
    well-versed in corporate finance techniques and
    interviewing skills.
  • Reuben has been working in the field of
    leadership development and executive coaching for
    over a year under Robert Pasick, PhD, a Harvard
    trained executive coach and consultant. In this
    capacity, he has tested his entrepreneurial
    abilities and gained leadership development
    insights.
  • Reuben has interviewed extensively in the fields
    of corporate finance, investment management,
    consulting, and private equity. He will be
    joining the Financial and Economic Consulting
    practice at The Huron Consulting Group in New
    York.

David Painter
Starting Line Consulting
  • David is a Senior at the Ross School of Business
    with an emphasis in marketing. Furthermore, he
    is pursuing a dual-degree from the Business
    School and a B.A. in Spanish. Through his
    professional experiences he can provide counsel
    on the process necessary to starting a career in
    the area of marketing, advertising, or public
    relations.
  • David has successfully interviewed for internship
    and full-time positions with Unilever, Procter
    Gamble, S.C. Johnson, American Express,
    Microsoft, and Kraft. He worked as an intern with
    Unilever in last summer working on the AXE Brand
    and will be joining Unilever full-time in their
    Chicago office.

Adam Percy

  • Adam Percy will graduate in April 2007 with a BBA
    from the Stephen M.Ross School of Business at
    the University of Michigan.  Adam
    hassuccessfully leveraged his resources from the
    University to gaininternship experience with
    both federal and state government.  In thesummer
    of 2006, Adam served as an intern to United
    States Senator JohnF. Kerry, assisting with
    business relationship development
    inMassachusetts.  He also worked as an intern
    with the MassachusettsState Legislature, serving
    in the House of Representatives.Additionally,
    Adam has experience in academics conducting
    research onHedge Fund Regulation at the Harvard
    Law School.
  • Adam's long term goals include a life of
    professional public service.In preparation for
    graduate studies, Adam will spend two years
    aftergraduation as a Teach For America corps
    member in Phoenix, Arizona.  Inaddition to his
    professional pursuits, Adam is also a
    dedicatedmusician, an avid runner, and enjoys
    studying ancient history, Englishliterature, and
    global politics.

Jackie Rocca
Starting Line Consulting
  • Jackie is a senior at the Ross School of Business
    with emphases in strategy and finance. Jackie
    has prior work experience in corporate finance
    and accounting working at GMAC Financial Services
    and Ernst Young Transaction Advisory Services,
    respectively. She will begin working for the
    strategy consulting firm Bain Company in the
    fall. She is also a Career Counselor at the
    Office of Career Development at the Ross School
    of business and has over 100 hours of relevant
    consulting experience.
  • Jackie has interviewed with the following
    consulting firms Bain Company, McKinsey,
    Boston Consulting Group, AT Kearney, Huron
    Consulting Group, Deloitte Consulting, ZS
    Associates, and CRA International. She has also
    interviewed with many of the Big Four Accounting
    firms and has experience in other behavioral
    interviews.
  • Jackie provides general career assessments,

    and behavioral and case-based consulting mock

George Rodnikov

  • George has graduated with a BBA degree from the
    Ross School of Business in May, 2006. He has
    completed his bachelor degree in just 3 years and
    is currently pursuing a Master in Accounting
    (MACC) and later on the CPA certification. George
    has vast interviewing experience in the fields of
    public accounting, corporate finance, and
    consulting. He is ready to provide general
    behavioral interview tips, accounting interview
    preparation, and career advice in these areas.
  • George has interviewed with all Big Four
    accounting firms, numerous corporate finance
    positions within Fortune 500 companies, and
    several consultancies. Georges professional
    experiences include corporate finance internships
    with Abbott Laboratories, one of the worlds
    largest pharmaceutical companies, and IWKA GmbH,
    a multi-billion Euro German holding corporation.
    He will be joining Huron Consulting Group in New
    York next summer.

    Finance, Accounting, and Strategy. He has worked
    as an investment banking and consulting Career
    Counselor at the Office of Career Development
    during his senior year, helping business school
    juniors and seniors with the recruiting process.
    Mike provides general career counseling, resume

  • Andy is a senior at the University of Michigan
    majoring in Economics. He is a transfer student
    from NYU Stern School of Business. Andy is an
    outstanding motivational speaker and an expert in
    self-directed career search. Andys focus is on
    case-based consulting interviewing process,
    capital markets positions, and interview style
    and etiquette. He has been advising students on
    career decisions and recruiting efforts for over
    a year.
