Lanzarote Harry Lanzarote was a weird
place, full of molten rock. I went for a bus
ride, through old volcanoes. It was like being
on the moon but it was boiling hot.
Description of places Kieran Grass like a
football pitch, Trees as tall as towers. Slide,
slippery as a tiger after its bath, Leaping to
the stars on my trampoline. The fridge as cold as
a snowmans shelter, An oven burning like the
sun. Tumble-drier with a lions roar, The ping of
the microwave.
My Hide Away Katie Richens My mums arms are a
place of comfort and love I can always trust her
with my hearts desire She folds in me every
part Where my life is.
Senses Martin Brinsley The strong tang of
diesel, Young pine trees in summer, Melting ice
oozing through my hands, The echoes of music in
my head, Dreaming a dream that came true.

Adams My bed is soft and comfy The duvet isnt
lumpy Its nice and warm, And in the morn I dont
feel quite so frumpy!
My house Abby Lenton I sleep there, I cry
there, I live there, I play there. In my house I
feel safe I feel alone.
My place The long grass The tall trees Mind the
glass, and Dont forget the raspberries.
Memories Niall Legg Sea water spraying on my
tongue Standing at the top, with the wind running
over my skin The hot smell of fresh, warm
bread The soft touch of a velvet rose, like a
blanket over the burning sun The sounds of dogs
barking Knowing my dog was going to die.
14
A sour apple Jessie A sour apple on the tip of
my tongue A little bluebird flying alongside
me Scented candles on a cold, dark night Running
my fingers through my dogs fur My friends high
pitched laughter Me, running up never ending
stairs, Trying to find that exit.
Garden Tyler My garden is very small, But a
home to my rabbit. It is divided by a patio, And
surrounded by a huge fence. The grass is like the
felt on a snooker table.
My special places Enrico Cape Town
has. Mountains high and flat Buildings tall and
small The hottest of beaches And the coolest of
pools. London in a heatwave. The River Thames
evaporating, Eating heat and sweat. One step and
