- En español, most adjectives have either two or
four forms - When using adjectives in Spanish, one must always
consider PLACEMENT and AGREEMENT.
3ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT
If an adjective ends in O, A, OS or AS then it
will have four forms and the form that you use in
any given sentence must agree with the noun that
it modifies. nuestro (m/s) nuestra
(f/s) nuestros (m/p) nuestras (f/p)
4ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT
If an adjective ends in something other than O,
A, OS or AS, then it will have only two forms
singular and plural. su (s) sus (p)
5Exceptions to the rule
The following adjectives lose the o of the
masc. singular ending WHEN they come right before
a Masc. Singular Noun. good (bueno)buen
libro bad (malo)mal perro one (uno)un
