14An Example how does the quality manual work?
Problem / requirements for welfare service by
financier and participant Guarantee of a safe
and ruled flow of the trainings. The executing
welfare services must assure that their trainings
will be executed in a way, that the agreed
quality standards will be reached. That refers
espacially to  -   Rooms and Equipment
-Â Â Â Â Staff -Â Â Â Â Methods and teaching
material -Â Â Structured, fixed processes
(Curricula, time-tables etc.)

Solution given by Prototype Quality Manual for
the example Staff
- Jobs are methodically described and requirements
for employees are fixed (Chapter 2.1. with
example). - Employees will be systematically chosen and
instructed (Chapters 2.3. and 2.4.) - Employees will be regularly further educated
(Chapter 2.5). - Employees will be regularly rated by the
participants(Chapter 5.1 and example to 5.4)

21Status quo what is the actual project status ?
- Based on the quality manual offers of
consultation for further support of enterprises
will be developed. - This is done by
- Network consultations (4 5 enterprises
develope together their quality management system
and are coached by consultants) - Individual consultations (Coaching of single
enterprises, which develope a quality management
system) - Development of custom-made further education for
enterprises which build a quality management
system - Further implementation of self-ratings and
transfer of this method in other regions of the
Federal Republic of Germany.
22Future prospects How will the project be
developed?
- At present there is a questioning of the users
of the quality manual about their process of
implementation. The users are also asked to give
examples of best-practice for the manual.
- At the end of last year the external requirement
for quality managements systems have changed due
to a revision of ISO 9001.
- In order to meet these requirements the quality
manual is revised.
- The 4th edition will be published in 2011.
