- EWB contacted in April 2005 by SDRWC, a charity
located in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh - Project Scope 45 coastal fishing villages
- Project Implementation began January 2006
- Project Collaboration between EWB teams in
Texas, California, Massachusetts, and Minnesota

- March 31- April 18
- Four engineers
- Four communities
- Addressed immediate drinking water needs
11Borewells
- Installed 16 borewells across 4 communities using
local labor
12School Pump Project
- Installed new groundwater well and pump to supply
a primary school with 5400 liters of clean water
13Solar Pump Station
- Constructed Solar Powered Pumping station and
storage tank

The tank says Jalamma Palem in the local
language of Telugu

- After the solar pump, the community installed
their own solar streetlight - EWB only had to translate two words Panel and
Battery
