- LIMITING MARINE ACTIVITY AND PERFORMING
DREDGING WORK DURING THE PERIOD FROM LOW TO
HIGH TIDE AND - IMPLEMENT THE USE OF DREDGING EQUIPMENT (E.G.
WATER TIGHT CLAMSHELL, DECANT SCOW, ETC) - 2. CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT 40 WORKING DAYS IN
ADVANCE OF WORK IN MARINE ENVIRONMENTS A
TURBIDITY CONTROL PLAN - 3. THE DEPARTMENT WILL BE CONDUCTING MONITORING

- Bids for this project will be opened and read in
a public forum - On Wednesday, November 14th at 2 PM in Sacramento
in Room 100 at 1120 N Street - Immediately Following Bid Opening
- Bid amounts will be verified
- Preliminary bid results posted at (916) 654-5500
and on the Internet (http//www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/
oe/bidsopened.html) - Bid summaries will be mailed to all bidders

- We generally award projects within 30 days from
bid opening. - Before awarding a contract, we verify
- Bid is responsive and complete
- Bid security is provided and correct (California
admitted surety) - All forms are complete and correct
- Contractor is properly licensed
- Three low bidders submit DBE (Fed) information
- Verify Compliance with DBE (Fed) requirements
- All protests addressed
