  • We need more communication no-one talks to
    you.

    for us, and nor is the acute ward.

Geographical Area
The Haven Project is located in the Colchester,
Essex area and has a geographical catchment of
Tendring and Colchester PCT areas, plus the
north-eastern part of the Witham, Braintree
Halstead PCT area (20 mile radius). This area has
a population of approximately 334,000.

Crisis Services - A 24 Hour Response
  • 1. A 24 hour crisis phone line and mobile to text
    in times of crisis.
  • 2. A non-residential Safe Centre environment
    providing daytime and night crisis support for up
    to six people at any time.
  • 3. A short stay residential facility provides a
    calm, quiet location where people benefit from
    time away from their usual environment for up to
    four people.

For Who?
  • The capacity of the day service is 25 per day.
  • Capacity of the Crisis Centre is up to 6 people
    at any one time at the Safe Centre and 4 per day
    in the residential facility.
  • The Haven Project is able to support 100 to 110
    registered clients at any one time. Registration
    is subject to annual renewal.
