Reticulation System
  • High Pressure Pipeline Construction
  • Future Works
  • Pipe
  • Install the remaining 20 km of pipe
  • Majority is 450 mm and smaller pipe
  • Pipeline pressure testing
  • Involves pumping water into pipes and
  • building pressure up to 110m water head
  • and successfully hold for half an hour.
  • Fittings
  • Install remaining 100 valves
  • Install remaining 140 meter assemblies

9
Reticulation System
  • Domestic Stock Installation
  • Some 150 new Domestic and Stock meter assemblies
    required
  • Flow restricted to 0.75 L/s
  • Pressure reducing valves to reduce pressure to 35
    m head
  • LMW to apply same main to meter policy as Urban
    Water.
  • Horticultural properties will have meters to be
located either next to irrigation outlet or
nearest boundary, House on separate title will
have separate connection and independent meter
(approximately 15 km of 50 mm HDPE pipe)
  • Internal works responsibility of landowner
    (depends on pipe condition)
  • Future Works
