Keep this in mind..

• As the sperm travels, it does not go TO the
  seminal vesicle or go to the prostate gland etc.
  
• The glands are not places, they are ducts that
  produce fluid and add it to the sperm as they
  pass by.

Semen sperm plus fluids from the 3 glands below

• 1. Seminal Vesicle- adds fructose (sugar) to
  give sperm energy
• 2. Prostate Gland- adds alkaline fluid (basic
  pH) to help sperm withstand fluid of vagina
  (protects sperm from acidity of vagina)
• 3. Bulbourethral Gland- adds alkaline fluid
  (basic pH) to neutralize urine that is in males
  urethra (fluid protects sperm from acidity of
  male urethra)
