  • USE 2 Duration From the Past Until Now
  • we use the Present Perfect to show that
something started in the past and has continued
up until now. "For five minutes," "for two
weeks," and "since Tuesday" are all durations
which can be used with the Present Perfect.

21
  • E.g
  • I have had a cold for two weeks.
  • She has been in England for six months.
  • Mary has loved chocolate since she was a little
    girl.

22
  • JOGGING
  • jogging has become very popular all over the
world. Especially in 1960s. Millions of people in
the United States and other countries have
started to jog. Jogging is very popular because
it is easy to do and very good for you. A person
who jogs should run two miles three times a week.
If you are beginning to jog, you should run
shorter distances until you can run two miles
easily. At first, instead of jogging, you can
walk fast. Remember that, with the exception of
good pair of running shoes, you dont need any
special clothing to jog. So, the next time you
see some people jogging, instead of just
watching, why dont you join them?

  • TEXT
  • Teams? Leagues? Authorities? Leaders? Who has
been responsible for the violence that takes
place at football games and other sports around
the world? On May 29, 1985, 39 fans died at
Heysel stadium in Brussels, Belgium. Englands
football has had serious problems, and the
situation is not different in Brazil. Our
stadiums security was upgraded, but problems
continue to happen. In 1995, after an important
game, there was a big fight between organized
rooting sections. Recently, during another game,
on may 8, 2005, people invaded the field and
    started an enormous riot.
