forester - Meet with forester to discuss your goals and DEC
goals - Get approval, follow guidelines set in agreement

9Shindagin Hollow State Forest
Shindagin Hollow has long been a staple to
mountain bikers in the Central New York region
with many riders coming from adjacent regions and
states to sample what it has to offer. Over the
years many of the trails had become eroded,
misused and neglected. This is not to say that
the forest was in shambles but that something
needed to occur to address the increasing traffic
and usage. We recognized this need and
contacted the DEC through the appropriate
channels and formed our AANR agreement in the
Fall of 2006. As it stands now we have logged a
total of 1367 hours
