The 2012 target By 2012 all unintentionally
homeless households will have the right to
permanent accommodation By 31 March 2009 councils
have to be half way there from where they were
in 2004.

  • The 2009 halfway target EXAMPLE
  • In 2003-04 Council X assesses 50 of homeless
    households as eligible for permanent
    accommodation.
  • All councils need to be at 100 by 2012.
  • Therefore Council X has to be at 75 by 2009.
  • It can choose how to do that.
