In the beginning
  • She was born on January 6th, 1412
  • She was born in Donremy, France
  • Her parents were Jacques dArc and Isabelle de
    Vouthon

  • King Henry V of England, invades France in August
  • The 100 year war begins!

  • She was 12
  • She started to have visions of St. Catherine, St.
    Margaret, and St. Michael.

  • Joans saints had started telling her to go talk
    with the local commander to get her an escort to
    take her to talk with the royal family
  • In May, Joan did what they asked but he wouldnt
    listen to her

1428 continues
  • Orleans siege starts on October 12th
  • On her 3rd attept, Robert de Baudricout allowed
    her an escort to talk to the Royal court

  • Joan met with King Charles

    aid to yourself and to your kingdom.

    captured before Saint Johns day (June 24th)
  • She and her soldiers were surrounded outside a
    city. When told to surrender, she refused

  • Joan was held in a military prison and was
    guarded by English guards (men)
  • Was very unfair

The execution
  • She was tied to a pillar above the crowd and then
    burned to death
  • After it was done, the people responsible were
    worried that god would be against them
  • She died in Rouen on May 30, 1941
