6STRUCTURE OF THE CATALOGUE OF MANUFUTURE NRTPs
- The catalogue will detail in a standard form
each NRTP - technical objectives,
- relevance to national economy,
- sectors concerned,
- ManuFuture pillars,
- research and development activities (at national
level and EU level), - stake holders groups,
- geographical representation,
- interactions with other NRTPs,
- special national programmes, funding instruments
etc.
7MANUFUTURE NRTP definition
- Industry-led with growth and N/R competitiveness
goals (Lisbon objectives and beyond) - Wide and open stakeholder involvement (industry,
public authorities, research community,
regulators, civil society, operators, users and
consumers) - Recognition from N/R authorities (i.e. Mirror
Group) only one national initiative per country
(except when no National initiative is present) - Objectives in line with MANUFUTURE European
Platform - Openness and transparency clear rules of
participation - Close cooperation with other N/R MANUFUTURE
initiatives (e.g. filling-up the catalogue,
project consortia creation, joint pilot actions,
etc.).
8MANUFUTURE NRTP Mission

- Mobilisation of a range of public and private
funding sources (National, regional and private
research funding, Community Framework Programmes,
Structural Funds, EIB, EUREKA). - Carry-out its own implementation plan (RI) based
on the MANUFUTURE SRA at national/regional level - Assuring political/industrial (i.e. SMEs)
awareness/support of MANUFUTURE objectives - Mutual exchange of information/needs between
European and national/regional levels
