NEW! Resume Requirement
  • All 315 students are required to create a resume
    and have it reviewed by a Career Services staff
    during the drop in hours
  • From 12 pm to 230 pm on Monday, Tuesday,
    Thursday and Friday, and from 430 pm to 600 pm
    on Wednesdays.
  • Whats the point you ask?
  • We are going to keep a binder of all PAF resumes
    that will be used to help students who have
    questions about making a resume and need ideas
  • Newhouse has a similar system in their Career
    Office!

  • 1st draft of your resume with notes made from
    Career Center (markings staff initials)
  • Final draft of your resume
  • Lose 5 points if you do not meet this deadline

Definitions
  • TARGET POPULATION The group you want your
    results to be representative of.
  • SAMPLING FRAME A list of all the units in the
    target population.
  • SAMPLE The units for which you have collected
    data from the sampling frame. In a survey, the
    people who responded.
