Commission Recommendation

    Haralson, Silva, Brofer, Hudgins) to recommend
    approval subject to four conditions
  • On the final plat revise note 10 to read "all
    drainage structures, such as detention or
    retention basins, to be maintained by the Home
    Owners Association, so as to prevent the creation
    of public nuisances or health hazards, such as
    mosquito breeding".
  • Receive substantial approval of improvement plans
    including compliance with City of Sierra Vista
    Road construction standards and sewer
    connections.
  • Construct road and drainage improvements as
    determined necessary in the TIA and Drainage by
    approved ADOT and the County prior to lot sales.

    to the final plat that indicate the water
    conservation measures to be used as selected from
    the Sierra Vista sub-watershed plan.
  • Submit documentation that proposed fire appliance
    improvements comply with Fry Fire District
    requirements with regard to hydrants, flow and
    other standards.
  • Receive final approval of the TIA including
    participation in a Traffic Needs Study conforming
    to ADOT standards and approved by ADOT for the
    future installation of a traffic signal at
    Schrader Road including the proportionate amounts
    contributed by the developer.

  • Mr. Chairman, I move to approve the Rio Mesa
    Tentative plat for a 139-lot subdivision subject
    to the conditions in the executive summary.
