• Created to worship Allah
• Actions commanded by Allah means to worship Him
• Allah only commands what is best for us
• Performing actions entails the self perfection
  required to know Allah

• Reach Allah through perfecting the self and self
  purification

Islam is a means

• ? We are on a journey of growth and evolution,
  not stationary
• Entails progressive change, where weaknesses are
  identified and addressed.
• ? A learning process, in order to learn we have
  to accept that we may be wrong
