ARTICLE 3 The Fundamental Objectives of The
Federative Republic of Brazil are
I to build a free, just and solidary
society II - to guarantee national
development III to erradicate poverty and
substandard living conditions and to
reduce social and regional
inequalities IV to promote the well-being
off all, without prejudice as to
origin, race, sex, colour, age and
any other forms of discrimination.

The economic order, founded on the appreciation
of the value of human work and on free
enterprise, is intended to ensure everyone a life
with dignity, in accordance with the dictates of
social justice, with due regard for the following
principles
I - national sovereignty II - privaty
property III - the social function of

consumer protection VI - environment
protection, including by means of different
treatments in accordance to the
environmental impact of products and services
and their respective production and
rendering VII - reduction of regional and
social differences VIII -pursuit of full
employment IX - preferencial treatment for
small enterprises organized under Brazilian
laws and having their head-office and
management in Brazil
