- Lufthansa CityLine has been operating with an
all-jet fleet since March 1997. - Lufthansa CityLine operates autonomously on air
routes in Europe and Germany, which are not
served by the smallest aircraft in the Lufthansa
fleet. - Lufthansa CityLine operates an all-jet
fleet 43 Canadair Regional Jets and 18 Avro
RJ85. - Lufthansa CityLine is an independent company
within the Lufthansa Group, operating under the
Lufthansa brand. - Lufthansa CityLine Product, Route Management and

- Lufthansa CityLine cares for the environment
- January 2000 CityLine is Europes first airline
to be awarded the EMAS (Environmental Management
and Audit Scheme) certificate in accordance with
the European Unions ecological audit
regulations. - August 2000 Lufthansa CityLine receives
certification according to the international
environmental norm ISO 14001. - In this spirit, Lufthansa CityLine is working on
integrating suppliers into its own environmental
activities and developing ecological purchasing
criteria.
16CSTCityLine Simulator and Training GmbH
- Lufthansa CityLines subsidiary CST is
responsible for the cockpit training - Located in Berlin-Schönefeld, CST trains cockpit
crews not only for CityLine, but for more than 40
airlines. - CST was awarded the ISO 9001 certificate in
2000, a recognition for quality assurance
programs. - The simulator for the new CRJ 700 is in
operation since November 2000.
