USDA Odor Test Method A(active agents)

• -Prepare sample to recommended dilution.
• -Pour into stainless steel pan.
• -Drain from pan (10-15 seconds).
• -Rinse pan if required by category code.
• -Sniff (hold pan 6-inches from face).
• -Product fails if majority detect odor.
• -3 panelists.

• -Prepare sample to recommended dilution.
• -Pour sample into beaker.
• -Sniff (hold beaker 6-inches from face).
• -Product fails if majority detect odor.

• -Dip stainless steel sheet in sample.
• -Drain stainless steel sheet (10-15 seconds).
