Instructional Model

• The students will become familiar with the
  individual characteristics for each of the 5
  classes of vertebrates.
• The students will be able to identify and
  classify vertebrates by using their
  characteristics.

Describe the Instructional Model

• The learners are upper elementary students who
  have some general knowledge about vertebrates but
  do not have classification skills mastered.
• This is an introductory stack which will lead to
  an individual research project on one class of
  vertebrate.

Instructional Objectives

• Give a Hyperstudio stack on the 5 classes of
  vertebrates, with ample time to go through the
  stack and learn its contents, the upper
  elementary students will participate in an
  identification quiz at the end of the stack with
  at least 4 out of 5 questions correctly
  identified and explained.

Criterion Measures

• The learners will be given the eg-rule exercise
  sample
• show the picture of a dog and tell that mammals
  have live births.
• In the assessment the rule-eg model will show
• given a characteristic example the student will
  be able to correctly identify the class of
  vertebrate.
