Fundamentals of SELLER network
? SELLER is a regional network for the
theme-centred exchange of experience in South
East Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia ?
SELLER links GTZ head office with its field
structure by offering a forum for the staff of
Division 311, PuE, IS, ÖAG, as well as GTZ
consultants and CIM experts. ? SELLER is
interdisciplinary and combines topic-centred
working groups and multidisciplinary task
forces ? Results and conclusions of the network
exchange are processed and are available to the
GTZ staff, all external experts involved in
SELLER and CIM experts.

Binding character and Orientation ? Topics of
the Working Groups are generally introduced by
colleagues, but may also be assigned by the
Steering Group. ? All topic-related work is
directed by clear and binding guidelines. ?
For the field staff of Division 311 the
cooperation within SELLER is compulsory and will
be evaluated as part of the staff assessment and
development talks. ? According to GTZ policy,
national staff will increasingly be integrated
into the Working Groups.
Cross-divisional/departmental Cooperation
(Division Strategy) ? Topic-related questions in
the Working Groups are worked upon together by
staff from PuE, CIM, IS, ÖAG as well as
consultants in the region.
