GEOGRAPHY
  • Indonesia is the largest country in South East
    Asia. It is made up of over 17,000 islands
  • The islands spread between the Indian and Pacific
    oceans linking the continent of Asia and
    Australia
  • 5 major islands (Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan,
    Sulawesi, Irian Jaya), and 30 smaller groups
  • 81 of Indonesia consist of sea
  • Land consist mostly of rich tropical rainforest
    and fertility of soil enriched by volcanic
    eruptions, eg. Java.

    breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In fact some
    Indonesians feel they don't eat a meal unless it
    is rice
  • Each area in Indonesia has its own traditional
    food and custom
  • Sundanese likes to eat fresh vegetables and
    sambal. They like to drink tea without sugar
  • Javanese likes to eat sweet. Tea will be sweet
  • Padang (West Sumatra) likes to eat hot/spicy food
  • Chinese-influenced cuisine.
