• No new ARIN policies affecting LRSA
• Nothing in the pipeline, either
• That is unlikely to change until transfer issue
  resolved

• ESnet should soon sign the LRSA
• For all address space
• For all AS numbers
• Procurement sees no problems with terms

• LRSA currently will be withdrawn at the end of
  2009
• My be extended
• No word from ARIN indicating any current plan

• US Government Pressing for better data on
  resource ownership
• To be used for SIDR (Secure Inter-Domain Routing)
  initiative
• ARIN already canvassing legacy holders to update
  contact information
• Now getting home AS information for address
  assignments
