laying on of hands!
Numbers 2718-20  18 So the LORD said to
Moses, "Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is
the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.

Numbers 2718-20  19 Have him stand before
Eleazar the priest and the entire assembly and
commission him in their presence. 20 Give him
some of your authority so the whole Israelite
community will obey him.

Deuteronomy 349-12 9 Now Joshua son of Nun
was filled with the spirit of wisdom because
Moses had laid his hands on him. So the
Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD
had commanded Moses.  10 Since then, no prophet
has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD
knew face to face,

Deuteronomy 349-12 11 who did all those
miraculous signs and wonders the LORD sent him to
do in Egyptto Pharaoh and to all his officials
and to his whole land. 12 For no one has ever
shown the mighty power or performed the awesome
deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

The Spirit raises up people to use for His
purposes!
Judges 39-10 9 But when they cried out to the
LORD, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel
son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, who saved
them. 10 The Spirit of the LORD came upon him,
and he judged Israel.

Judges 39-10 When he went out to war, the LORD
gave Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into
his hand, so that he prevailed over
Cushan-rishathaim king of Aram into the hands of
Othniel, who overpowered him.

The Spirits creates mighty men and women!
Judges 633-35 33 Now all the Midianites,
Amalekites and other eastern peoples joined
forces and crossed over the Jordan and camped in
the Valley of Jezreel. 34 Then the Spirit of the
LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet,
summoning the Abiezrites to follow him.

Judges 633-35 35 He sent messengers
throughout Manasseh, calling them to arms, and
also into Asher, Zebulun and Naphtali, so that
they too went up to meet them. Naphtali,
summoning their warriors, and all of them
responded.

A Mighty Spirit is required for mighty deeds!
Judges 145-6 5 Samson went down to Timnah
together with his father and mother. As they
approached the vineyards of Timnah, suddenly a
young lion came roaring toward him.

Judges 145-6 6 The Spirit of the LORD came
upon him in power so that he tore the lion apart
with his bare hands as he might have torn a young
goat. But he told neither his father nor his
mother what he had done.

The power to change comes from the Spirit!
1 Samuel 106, 9-10 "6 Then the Spirit of the
LORD will come upon you mightily, and you shall
prophesy with them and be changed into another
man. 9 As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God
changed Saul's heart, and all these signs were
fulfilled that day.

Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him the
Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he
joined in their prophesying.
