EuroFM in Healthcare Healthcare Network Project
OBJECTIVE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND KNOWLEDGE
Main idea of the Network shall be the study of
healthcare supporting services in the context of
present and future local (geographical) health
care networks, like hospitals, home care, general
practitioners, nursing homes, hospital pharmacy,
etc. in Europe. We shall study local healthcare
networks as an open system that is evolving -
networks defined and developed by different
healthcare-system-dependent, changing patient
pathways. We strive for optimizing the local
health care network within existing limits and
system borders knowing that this is a relative
affair, located in social, technical and
ecological systems where an optimum is an
illusion.
11
EuroFM in Healthcare Project Organization
OBJECTIVE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS ANS KNOWLEDGE
  • Collection of partners from research, industry,
    institutions,
  • Collecting the existing ongoing research projects
    of the partners
  • Establishment of theme related groups/Work
    packages
  • Defining an overall networking headline under
    which groups will gather
  • Funding for networking organization, travel and
    meeting costs
