Biographical Information

• The 13th Dalai Lama was born in a village north
  east Tibet.He was born July 6, 1935 in the small
  village of Taktser.
• STORY
• In 1935, an official person of Tibet went to the
  sacred lake of Lhamoe Lhatso. There he had a
  vision. He saw the future in this lake. He saw
  3 letters, Ha, Ka and Ma followed by a
  vision of a monastery. It had a jade roof and
  turquoise tiles. The description of this
  monastery was written down but kept secret.

In 1937, other officials were sent on a mission
to find this monastery, If this place was
found, they knew the new Dalai Lama was
found. The boy they discovered, was only two
years old. However, the boy saw a rosary that
one of the men was wearing and he recognized it
as belonging to the 13th Dalai Lama. He
demanded that it should given to him. He also
knew the name of the leader and the servant.
These tests and others convinced them that
the reincarnation had occurred and that they had
found the 14th Dalai Lama. He has ruled for 66
years and still rules today. Please continue
