Articulation of Courses
Students receive credit for high school courses
that are modified to be equivalent to
introductory college courses. These save time
as much as a full semester of college These save
money in some types of courses student/parents
save fees and tuition and the state saves
funding. Student earns a Workforce Education
One-Year Certificate or an Associates of Applied
Science (AAS) Degree These courses can also lead
to a BAAS or BAT Degree within the Texas Two-Step
Program.
6
What kind of courses apply?
  • Dual-credit courses one institution teaches and
    both give credit
  • Concurrent-credit courses student is
    co-enrolled at both institutions
  • Advanced Placement courses student takes a
modified class and a standardized exam
  • Articulated courses student takes a modified
class and is given credit in escrow

Not all courses count for all degrees so you have
