Status

• All code is in CVS
• It is compiled and packed into RPM automatically
• Two RPMs are produced (version 1.2.1)
• cg-wp3.4-unidal-1.2.1.RH7.3-1.0.i386.rpm
• cg-wp3.4-unidalclient-1.2.1.RH7.3-1.0.i386.rpm
• These RPMs have been successfully installed on
  selected sites of Testbed

• Optor at zeus04 uses DAES, CEXS, STEL components
  distributed in cg-wp3.4-unidal-XXX-rpm and
  installed on SE
• zeus04 is registered in MDS as the default ROS
  endpoint (so all calls to edg-rm exploits Optor
  at zeus04)

A few comments

• Best replica selection is very important feature
  for Flood, Meto, Medical and HEP applications and
  others
• Our infrastructure is used indirectly by people
  from CrossGrid because Resource Broker uses
  EDG-Replica Manager (Reptor)
• Due to great interproject collaboration between
  CrossGrid Task 3.4 and European DataGrid projects
  WP2 we provided integrated tool integrating
  advantages of both projects instead of developing
  competitive ones.

UDAL - Unified Data Access Layer
UDAL is supposed to cover heterogeneity of
Storage. It is based on Component Expert
Architecture allowing easy adaptation to new
problems.
