• Gerundive is an adjectival use of the Future
  Passive Participle
• Often appears when a Latin gerund has a direct
  object
• The Gerundive is an adjective whose case, gender,
  and number are determined by those of its object.

Gerundive of Purpose. Unlike a complementary
infinitive, gerundives really emphasizes the
purpose.
