Vortex Sheet Roll-up for Formation Flight

• Motivation Most of the calculations that have
  been made in order to find the benefits and
  optimum configurations for formation flight are
  based on first order (flat) vortex wake model. We
  want to see the changes due to vortex wake
  roll-up.
• Goal Compute the energy recovery capability of a
  wing flying in the wake of another wing with
  vortex wake roll-up.
• Method In the Trefftz plane, we use a 2D-panel
  method for wake roll up with a linear
  distribution of vorticity for the first wing. The
  second wing is simply modeled by a lifting line.
