Title: WHATS THIS ROOM ALL ABOUT
1 WHATS THIS ROOM ALL ABOUT?
2This web room is exciting and it belongs to
you! The members of the Dream Catcher Team
made it for you, so they can find out what
children and young people want the Childrens
Commissioner to concentrate on next year.
3 We are the Dream Catcher team Danny, Liv,
Morgan, Pierre and Sam from Gloucester Alia,
Aneesa, Hamza, Junaid, Nisha and Sara from Leeds
Alex, Ashleigh, Holley, Peter, Rebecca, Nicole,
Stacey and Ste from Liverpool Jade, Jasmine,
Reece and Savannah from South Tyneside. Were all
different ages the youngest members of the team
are 10 and the oldest are 18.
The 11 MILLION children and young people
in England
have a voice
Childrens
Commissioner for England,
Professor Sir Al
Aynsley-Green
4 We have come up with some questions and a
workshop called Worries and Wishes to help you
talk about the things that make you feel good or
bad about yourselves and your lives.
5 There are three questions you can answer on
your own, by choosing a shape and adding words to
tell us what you think and feel, or by uploading
something youve made or written. You can do this
on the top right bit of this page where it says
answer a question to have your say.
6If you want to tell us more about your thoughts
and feelings, you can take part in the Worries
and Wishes workshop with a small group of young
people at your school or youth project. It will
help you say what you want the future to be like.
To find out more about the workshop, have a
look at the next PowerPoint, and/or contact our
Dream Catcher co-ordinator Viv on
worries.wishes_at_11MILLION.org.uk or 0191 478
6210, 07798 757 230
7The answers people send us to the questions and
the results of all the workshops will be put
together and we will work out which things matter
most to you and other children and young people
in England. Then we will take the results to the
Dream Catcher event in February next year.
