The DISADVANTAGES to the new technology are
Initial purchasing costs are high
Training is necessary to teach employees on how
to effectively use the new technology to their
advantage. This may take a considerable amount of
time since we dont have any similar systems in
place.
Suppliers would also have to make similar
changes in their procedures otherwise we would
have to retrieve new more compatible suppliers.
Some jobs would have to be eliminated due to the
new automated, electronic system in place
replacing their jobs

Our software comparison has helped us to confirm
the decision that PMX would be the best solution
to our request for updated software. By
implementing this new software we would be making
the first few steps in the transition process as
we would be moving into the new
technological/electronical era. The new
software would help us significantly reduce
