- NSPO will commit to the 3 5 years
constellation operation of - the current mission.
- NSPO will continue to share the 3 5 years
operating cost of the - two remote ground stations, Fairbank and
Kiruna. - NSPO has implemented an advanced Program Team
to begin the - Follow-On spacecraft design to meet the
future RO needs. - NSPO is expecting the continuous cooperation
with NSF / UCAR - for the Follow-On mission for a target launch
of 2012 or sooner.

18Closing Remarks
- Global warning has become an international
attention - RO technique has shown a positive impact to the
weather forecast system - Participating other international space programs,
returning to moon, etc.
- Taiwan is willing to continue to contribute to
the RO weather monitoring system - NSPO has exhibited the first successful
operational RO constellation and ready for
FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC Follow-On - NSPO is seeking opportunity for international
cooperation for scientific missions
19NSPO is committed to The FORMOSAT-3 / COSMIC
Follow-On ! Welcome to visit NSPO in Taiwan
Thank You for Your Attention !
