Who Invented the Rocket ?

China 1200 a.d.
They had Fire-Arrows. They also invented Black
Powder Explosive. By modifying the black powder
they could have a slower burn and use it for
rockets.
Wan Hu Strapped 42 rockets to his chair and lit
them. He was never seen again.

Chinese Rockets

• They had rockets that were on sticks, looking
  like bottle rockets.
• They used these rockets for war.
• One of their large rockets was heard 10 miles
  away and devastated an area 1/2 mile in radius.
