Volunteer and Get Money for Our Club!

• The program turns unwanted, reusable items into
  cash for charities and also for us! Items are
  collected during the weeks around move out, in
  the dorms as well as off campus, and then put up
  for sale in a giant garage/yard type sale during
  Welcome Week.
• We need volunteers between May 25th and June
  12th. Volunteers will be in charge of sign
  posting/chalking, and then helping with the
  sorting process at the warehouse. We pay each
  volunteer by the hour, and then donate that
  amount to the organization within 30 days of the
  sale. Pay rate is determined by the amount made
  at the sale, but last year we paid 7/hour.

Button/Magnet Design

• We have SOURCE points to use so we are going to
  make some buttons and magnets! So we need a sweet
  design to put on them!
• Please either email or bring your designs to the
  meeting by May 12th!

Matt Ferris Campaign

• Matt Ferris is having his door-to-door kickoff
  this weekend on Saturday at 10 AM.  We're meeting
  at Antrium Park, which is located on 5800
  Olentangy River Road (it's off of 315 and 161). 
  We'll be staging in the parking lot and
  dispersing in groups from there.  Outside of
  being the kickoff, this is an important one
  because Mayor Coleman just announced a proposal
  to raise the city income tax 25 and it's
  important to start talking to voters about it
  while it's in the news.  Ferris is opposing it
  and making his opposition the centerpiece of his
  campaign.
