- Joint MDM Accounts are opened at district level
in the name of ADC DEEO. - No amount can be withdrawn from district level
account. Amount can Only be transferred in the
school account. - School Accounts are opened at school level which
are to be operated by Head Teacher Mahila
Panch. - About 13,000 MDM Bank Accounts have been opened.
- Other ingredients i.e. Channa, Dal, Ghee, Salt,
groundnut etc are to be purchased locally.

food grains. - Lifting should be on 6 monthly basis or

23ISSUES
- The cooking cost is low in primary schools. It is
difficult to fulfill the present norms at the
present cost. It needs to be enhanced to atleast
Rs. 3.50 from Rs. 2.07 per child/per day - The cooking cost is low in Upper-Primary Schools.
