The Flag

• The flag of Spain, most recently adopted on
  December 19 1981, features a large horizontal
  stripe of yellow through the canter and a smaller
  stripe of red on the top and bottom. An emblem is
  offset to the left horizontally and centered
  vertically.

  It territories in the Americas were extensive and
  wealthy. One of Spains most famous rulers was
  Phillip II, who fought many wars in the name of
  the Roman catholic church
