• Stretched to the point of dislocation,
• While I try not to think about the throbbing.

• Come Down, they whisper,
• Knowing I have before.
• It was fun and exciting
• Blurring my white and black into grey
• But it left me confused and alone.

• Come down, they say,
• Knowing Im pleasing others.
• But I like it up here, its safer
• Conforming to the group
• By living a good life.

• Come down, they invite,
• Wanting me to rejoin their games,
• Dangerous games
• Revealing no clear winner
• Yet very distinctive losers.

• Come down! they shout.
• Reminding me of my mother
• With that lookyou know, the look
• Saying, Its just a fad, itll pass.
• Sometimes I wish it were that easy.

• Come down, they taunt,
• Knowing full well I mustnt,
• For someone might see me
• Rebelling against their rules
• And put me back here
