• Jesus began his ministry by selecting his team
• He gave the bulk of his time to their training
• They were trained to fulfill the mission
• John 2021, repentance and forgiveness of sins
  will be preached in his name to all nations.
• Mark 1615 Go into all the world and preach the
  good news.
• Matt. 2819 Therefore go and make disciples of
  all nations.
• Luke 2447, Repentance and forgiveness of sin
  will be preached in my name to all nations.

• Acts 18, But you will receive power when the
  Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my
  witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
  Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
• We need to align ourselves with the one who can
  defeat the enemy
• Ephesians 119-22 describes this power His
  incomparably great power for us who believe.
  That power is the working of his mighty strength
  far above all rule and authority, power and
  dominion.

• Luke 1019 says that he has the power to overcome
  the power of the enemy so that he cannot harm us
• The church is simply a team of disciples who are
  being trained to make more disciples.

• 2. Leadership
• Christ never intended for anyone to become a
  disciple all by themselves it takes team!
• Team requires humility
• It takes humility to follow team leadership
• Spiritual leadership helps guide us in the way of
  discipleship
• The church is NOT a spiritual factory
• The church is real people trying to learn the way
  of being a disciple of Christ

• Being a Christian means we have a mission
• That mission is a message of spiritual
  transformation
• Jesus Christ IS the truth John 147
• That truth needs to be told Mark 1615
• We need to be trained in the truth so we can live
  and speak the truth
