blood," he said. "It is your responsibility!

court
- Something about this Jesus that looked right
through you. - Even his wife warned him not to be his usual
arrogant self - 3. It wasnt Jesus on trial in those moments, but
Pilate and you and me.
7We cant wash our hands of this event.
- It is about us.
- We cant walk out of this building today and
pretend that it didnt happen, or that since we
are 2,000 years removed it were not involved.

reign and the beginning of Christs Kingdom. - Our death and our sin are a very big deal to
God!!!!

- His Blood that breaks the Power of Satan over our
disease, sickness and death. - His Blood that Appeases the Fathers wrath
against our Ungodliness.
12III. Surely, He was the Son of God. Matthew
2754
- 54 When the centurion and those with him who were
guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that
had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed,
Surely he was the Son of God!
13He is the Son of God
- The Roman centurion standing, keeping watch over
the proceedings - As He died, nature itself revolted.
- Fear gripped the heart of these brave and battle
hardened warriors
14As we gaze on today.
- Christs death confronts us with the cost of our
sin - The cross shows us the full extent of His love.
15My Nails?
- Col. 213 He forgave us all our sins, 14
having canceled the written code, with its
regulations, that was against us and that stood
opposed to us he took it away, nailing it to the
cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and
authorities, he made a public spectacle of them,
triumphing over them by the cross.
