Title: Graphing A line

1
Graphing A line
  • BY Peter Allena

2
Coordinates
  • Your coordinates will consist of 2 numbers, one
will represent the x axis, and the other number
    will represent the y axis.

3
What the coordinates look like
  • The coordinates would look like they are shown.
  • Axis (2,5) or (-4, 5)

4
The x axis and y axis on a graph
  • The vertical line on the graph(up and down) is
the y axis. The parallel line on the graph(left
to right) is the x axis.

5
How to graph
  • To graph the points on the graph take the first
of the two given points (2,5)
  • The first 2 would represent the point on the
    x axis.
  • The second which is 5 would be graphed on the
    y axis.
  • So your points would be on the graph (2,5)

6
Graph the points
  • 2 is on the x axis, go right because its a
positive. Now take the 5 go up because its a
positive (over 2, up 5 plot the point.)

Not the pts. (2,5)
