The Gospel Epic Satans Evil Plan

There are two equal and opposite errors into
which we can fall concerning the devil. One is to
disbelieve in his existence and the other to feel
an excessive and unhealthy interest in him.
- C.S. Lewis

Be sober-minded be watchful. Your adversary the
devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking
someone to devour.

"Know the enemy and know yourself in a hundred
battles you will never be in peril. When you are
ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your
chances of winning or losing are equal. If
ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are
certain in every battle to be in peril."
  • Sun Tzu, The Art of War

To Make the Gospel Complicated
But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve
by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray
from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
- 2 Cor. 113

To Make the Gospel Complicated
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled
only to those who are perishing. In their case
the god of this world has blinded the minds of
the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the
light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who
is the image of God.
- 2 Corinthians 43 - 4

To Make the Gospel Complicated
Some of the confusion regarding the meaning of
the Gospel today may arise from failing to
clarify the issue involved. The issue is, how
can my sins be forgiven? What is it that bars me
from Heaven? What is it that prevents my having
eternal life? The answer is sin. Therefore, I
need some way to resolve that problem. And God
declares that the death of His Son provides
forgiveness of my sin. Christ died for our
sins
11
To Make the Gospel Complicated
thats as plain and simple as it could be.
Sinners need a Savior. Christ is that Savior and
the only valid one. Through faith I receive Him
and His forgiveness. The sin problem is solved,
and I can be fully assured of going to Heaven.
- Charles Ryrie

To Steal the Gospel From Our Hearts
The sower sows the word. And these are the ones
along the path, where the word is sown when they
hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the
word that is sown in them.
- Mark 414 - 15

To Destroy Our Faith

To Destroy Our Faith
Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have
you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I
have prayed for you that your faith may not fail.
And when you have turned again, strengthen your
brothers.
- Luke 2231 - 32

To Destroy Our Faith
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of
the eternal life to which you were called and
about which you made the good confession in the
presence of many witnesses.

To Destroy Our Faith
Since therefore the children share in flesh and
blood, he himself (Jesus) likewise partook of the
same things, that through death he might destroy
the one who has the power of death, that is, the
devil, and deliver all those who through fear of
death were subject to lifelong slavery.
- Hebrews 214 - 15

The reason the Son of God appeared was to
destroy the works of the devil.

To Destroy Our Faith
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of
the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my
Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of
all things and count them as rubbish, in order
that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not
having a righteousness of my own that comes from
the law, but that which comes through faith in
Christ, the righteousness from God that depends
on faith.
- Phil. 38 - 9
