Scope of Strategic Review
  • One of 3 Strategic Reviews
  • Based on Needs Groups NOT Services
  • Includes homeless, young people at risk, homeless
    and those at risk, offenders, substance misusers,
    those who experience DV, refugees.
  • ALSO those people with mild LD, mental ill-health
    and physical disability whose condition is not
    serious enough to need any care services

Using the NHF model
  • Needs to make maximum use of local data sources
    to estimate Population in Need we need comments
    and figures
  • Needs consensus as figures to be used in later

    ABS or NABS and length of time they need it for
  • Will need some allowance at the end of process to
    allow for overlap between different needs groups
  • Assumptions in SRIP are produced in table form.
