410 AM Beijing time Thursday November 10, 2005
- Two hours before the Commission meeting ended,
Craig Donlon asked to be recognized and said - The United Kingdom requests that ET 2.2, which is
joint with CLIVAR, also be joint with JCOMM - I agreed as
- More ocean involvement made sense
- The CLIVAR SSG had, in the past, urged the team
to work on ocean indices - But CLIVAR wasnt thrilled that this decision was
made without consultation
5ET 2.2 on Climate Monitoring
- Monitoring now a separate team
- It was part of the ETCCDMI the last time around
- Craig Donlon also urged ET 2.2 to change title to
explicitly include and marine data - I only agreed if he agreed to serve on the team
