- Liaises with Government State and Local, and
departments, and Federal (through FABC) - Represents more than half of all Buddhist centres
and temples in Queensland to the non-Buddhist
community - Is working to build stronger and better
relationships with all dharma groups and
practitioners throughout Queensland - Already is involved with the following major
projects in Qld - National Inter-Faith Festival Maleny March 10
11 - Harmony Day Gold Coast City Council March 21
- Stupas in the Parks Southbank others
April-May - Kindness Week Queensland - June 10
- H.H. Dalai Lama Brisbane June 13
- Qld. Multicultural Festival October 15
- Several other proposals in development for 2007

- Does not wish to control this program,
- Does not want to manage the finances for it,
- Does not want to take the credit for the idea.
- Does want to help the program to
- Develop a universally acceptable model
- Gain accreditation by the Education Department
- Access lines of funding to guarantee its future
- Source volunteers to deliver the program
statewide - Promote the program to schools and groups

- through endorsing the programs outcomes
- Will make Qld. Education Department recognition
easier and available statewide - Will aid accessing funding through demonstrating
uniform acceptance by the dharma community - Will help broader community acceptance by
presenting dharma without overlaying any
potential cultural or other mis-conceptions - Will facilitate other state centres to deliver
the program to their own local communities, in a
proven and unified format.

participant stakeholders - One (minimum) BCQ representative to be included
in administration team from within stakeholders
or additionally - Up-down liaison to maximise relationships with
govt and funding entities and reporting
functions with ATO and other institutions. - Independent management of resources directed
towards program outcomes.
