- Class PB Barrier Wall System
- Commercial use only
- Commonly used in strip malls, office buildings
and schools - Adhesively or mechanically attached to a substrate
21Aggre-flex Drainage System
- Class PB Drainage EIFS
- Always applied over a water barrier
- For residential and commercial use
- Flat or wavy insulation board may be used
- Recommend Tyvek StuccoWrap as the water barrier
with flat insulation
22Rollershield EIFS
- Class PB Drainage EIFS with roll-on secondary
water barrier - Use drywall mesh tape at board joints, double
Rollershield at joints
23Stucco Cement Board Coatings
- Base coat, mesh and finish over an approved
cement board substrate and secondary water
barrier - A double layer of mesh is used at board joints
- Good durability with moderate cost
24One Coat Stucco (OCS)
- Like traditional stucco, but with fibers
- Installed thinner than regular stucco, ½ is
typical - A water barrier is required over sheathing
- May be applied directly to masonry or concrete
- May not be available in all areas
25Cemplaster Stucco
- Traditional stucco with a Master Wall warranty
- Several different systems available with
warranties from five to ten years - Applied full thickness, 7/8 over sheathing and
1/2 over masonry - Limited availability area
26Insulated Concrete Forms
- Base coat, mesh and finish over the ICF forms
- Great if ties are buried within the insulation,
otherwise another layer of insulation board is
required
27Aggre-flex Commercial Drainage EIFS
- Class PB EIFS with a durable trowel-on secondary
water barrier - Uses WeatherStop as a secondary water barrier and
WeatherStop Flashing Tape to seal all
penetrations - From the water barrier out detailing follows the
Aggre-flex System - Great for commercial installations where
maintaining the fire rating is required
28QRW1 Drainage EIFS
- Industry Classified as Class PI
Polyisocyanurate over a water-resistive barrier - Uses the Polyiso board rather than Molded
Expanded Polystyrene insulation (MEPS) - Larger sheets
- Higher compressive strength compared to MEPS
- Higher initial R-value compared to MEPS, but will
drift - Cannot be rasped to level wall irregularities
- Generally uses plastic trims, but backwrapping
remains an option. Detailing is similar to Class
PB EIFS - Uses control joints to compensate for thermal
movement and possible insulation board shrinkage - Install every 30 lineal feet, detail locations on
drawings

- Base coat and finish over an approved substrate
- Unpainted brick/block
- Unpainted concrete
- Mesh is optional if needed for some additional
crack resistance or to help leveling - FM Plus recommended as a base coat

sponge or brush to desired appearance - Available in all standard Master Wall colors
45Foam Mesh Adhesive (FM)
- Adhesive Base Coat
- Pail Base
- Used as the base coat in the Aggre-flex Drainage
System
46FM Mixing
- Mixed 11 with Portland cement. Mix the pail,
split in half, fill to the top with cement and
mix - Let set 3-5 minutes then re-mix to a creamy
consistency - Add water as needed for workability do not
exceed 30 ounces of water per half pail
47Master Wall Bagged Base (MBB)
- Dry base coat wont freeze in dry form
- Just add water and go
- Add some water to the bottom of the pail
- Pour in MBB and mix let set 3-5 minutes
- Remix and add water as needed for workability
48FM Plus
- High build adhesive and base coat with fibers for
durability - Use in areas that require a lot of leveling can
be applied up to ¼ thick - Mixed same as FM, 11 with Portland cement
49Guardian
- Waterproof base coat and adhesive with fibers
- Mixed 11 with Portland cement just like FM but
pail is lighter use 22-1/2 lbs of cement - Use it where you need extra water protection such
as large slopes and parapet caps - Dries darker than FM. Sometimes a skim coat of
FM is needed to minimize color variations
50Quick Set MBB
- Quick setting bagged base coat and adhesive
- Mixes and works the same as MBB with the
opportunity to adhere and base in the same day
51Expanded PolyStyrene Adhesive (EPSA)
- Ready to use adhesive for wood-based and gypsum
sheathing - Does not contain cement
- Creamy, easy to mix with good initial grab
- Uses 3/8 x ½ U-notched trowel
