  • We found it very helpful to establish a working
    relationship with Facilities and Maintenance at
    the School District.
  • We chose a company already contracted with the
    district for design and construction.
  • Ask for extra materials to donate.

  • Cant hurt to ask!
  • Parents can ask employers.
  • Approach community.
  • Offer different levels of commitment
  • Grasses, shrubs and tree levels

Plant an Idea and Watch It Grow
  • Once our process started, momentum grew quickly.
    The habitat brought a sense of community to
    Denison families, faculty and staff. There has
    been an outpouring of support and this spirit has
    spread throughout the school. Denison has a
    renewed sense of what we can accomplish if we put
    our collective minds together.
