  understanding of the 3 sacraments of initiation.
• Baptism
• Holy Eucharist
• Confirmation
• Each of these Sacraments draws us to Christ,
  which draws us to the Church

• Baptism Born in Christ
• Eucharist nourish by Jesus
• Confirmation Strengthen by the Holy Spirit

Jesus is Baptized

• He was not given a specific mandate.
• No guarantee was given He would avoid suffering.
• In the brief moment with the Jordan River rushing
  over his head and swirling around his eyes and
  nose he had a vision of his mission!

THE 3 SACRAMENTS

• What do the 3 sacraments do?
• Initiate draw those who receive them closer
  into the Life of CHRIST and the Church
• Give Praise and Honor to God
• We were created to know love the Lord
• When your in UNION with the Holy Spirit and Jesus
  then you will be presented to His Father!

Confirmation What is it?

• The special outpouring of the Holy Spirit to seal
  the Baptized person with the gift of the 3rd
  Person in the Trinity.
• Baptism you receive the Holy Spirit
• Confirmation - seals you with the Holy Spirit
  bringing you closer to Christ and the Church

Confirmation What is it?

• Baptism gives personal salvation
• Confirmation - sends you out on a mission
• Your Mission through speech action
• Confirmation is the Pentecost of the Baptized
• Pentecost is when the disciples received the Holy
  Spirit and went out and proclaimed the Good NEWS
  about Jesus!

• How can a Candidate Spread Defend
• Stand on the street corner with a sign?
• Offer up your game or practice to Gods will?
• Picking up trash in a parking lot or at school?
• Eating Lunch with someone who eats alone most
  days?
• Making time to go to Mass EVERY WEEK?
• GO FOR JESUS Hes Expecting you
